We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven SME Lending Specialist to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our SME portfolio, optimizing lending operations, and driving strategic sales initiatives to empower small and medium-sized enterprises.
Key Responsibilities- Strengthen SME sales mechanisms and provide effective sales force management to achieve institutional targets.
- Assist the bank in developing and optimizing innovative new distribution channels.
- Acquire, onboard, and proactively manage high-value SME clients to foster long-term loyalty.
- Streamline and strengthen SME lending operations, loan processing, and risk assessment workflows.
- Monitor market trends and competitive developments for SME loan products to maintain a strategic edge.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of cognate banking or SME lending experience.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
- Strong analytical, credit assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience or exposure to the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
