Key Responsibilities- Drive aggressive customer acquisition and seamless onboarding of new SME clients to expand the bank's business portfolio in Abia.
- Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with SME customers, identifying lucrative opportunities for cross-selling and enhanced value delivery.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments, prepare comprehensive credit proposals, and meticulously monitor loan portfolio performance.
- Achieve and exceed assigned targets for loan growth, deposit mobilization, and non-interest revenue streams.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal credit policies, operational guidelines, KYC/AML mandates, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to uncover emerging business opportunities within the regional SME sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in SME banking, commercial banking, business sales, or relationship management.
- Demonstrated expertise in customer acquisition, credit analysis, and portfolio management within the financial services sector.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills tailored for a client-facing banking environment.
