About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services, dedicated to helping critical industries streamline operations, reduce operational risks, and achieve project goals. We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Slickline Operator / Engineer to join our dynamic team and support critical well intervention and completion operations across onshore and offshore fields in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Execute slickline well intervention operations safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project timelines.
- Rig up, rig down, and operate slickline units and associated pressure-control equipment.
- Conduct tool deployment, retrieval, and complex fishing operations as required by the operational programme.
- Perform comprehensive pre-job checks, equipment inspections, and necessary function tests.
- Maintain accurate job reports, logs, and operational records for internal and client review.
- Ensure strict adherence to company, client, and industry health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in slickline and well intervention operations within the oil and gas sector.
- Proven expertise with slickline equipment, pressure-control equipment, and wellhead operations.
- Demonstrated experience in running and retrieving downhole tools, as well as setting and retrieving plugs and gauges.
- Solid knowledge of well intervention procedures, well control, and safe operating practices.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret well schematics, tool diagrams, and operational programmes.
- Possession of valid relevant HSE, Well Control, and professional Slickline certifications.
