About the Role
Dewatering Construction ETC Limited is a specialized dewatering company with a highly trained team of professionals in well point dewatering and allied services. We have successfully undertaken the installation, maintenance, and delivery of various dewatering projects with a proven track record of excellence. We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Site Worker to join our dynamic field operations team based in Lagos, with opportunities to work across various sites within and outside the state.
Key Responsibilities- Assist engineers and technicians with the physical installation and dismantling of well point dewatering systems on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on dewatering equipment, pipes, pumps, and associated hardware.
- Load, unload, transport, and properly store heavy construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with company health and safety standards.
- Execute manual excavation, trenching, and pipe-laying tasks as required by project supervisors.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, site hazards, or operational delays promptly to the site manager.
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or relevant vocational training.
- Demonstrated physical fitness and stamina to handle intensive, hands-on outdoor construction work.
- Previous experience working on construction sites or with industrial pumping and dewatering equipment is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow strict instructions from project supervisors.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety regulations and proper usage of personal protective equipment.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and travel to different project sites as required.
