About the Role
G4S is a global leader in security solutions, providing flexible, cost-effective, and technologically advanced plans tailored to our clients' needs. We are currently looking for a dynamic Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Manager to oversee our Technology & Secure Solutions department in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will drive our technical strategy, manage complex electronic security rollouts, and ensure the seamless operation of our monitoring and response infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the G4S Nigeria electronic security technology roadmap in alignment with global group standards.
- Oversee the technical design, configuration, and project delivery of CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and fire systems.
- Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with technology providers, OEMs, and local vendors.
- Supervise the G4S Monitoring and Response Center to ensure optimal functionality of fleet tracking and client CCTV feeds.
- Support business development by providing technical consulting, security audits, and risk assessments for premium clients.
- Lead, mentor, and upskill field technicians, control room operators, and project engineers while enforcing strict HSE standards.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in electronic security systems, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Professional certifications in enterprise security platforms (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, Honeywell, Bosch) and PMP or PRINCE2 are highly advantageous.
