About the Role
Westfield Consulting is a premier management consultancy firm dedicated to improving organizational performance and business operations. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Nurse to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will deliver comprehensive occupational health, emergency first aid, and primary healthcare services to personnel operating on-site, on vessels, and at waste management facilities. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring regulatory compliance across high-risk industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide immediate first aid, emergency stabilization, and triage for workplace injuries, chemical exposures, and accidents related to marine and industrial operations.
- Manage site clinic operations, including drug inventories, equipment sterility, medical records, and medical evacuations (Medevac).
- Conduct daily fitness-for-duty checks for drivers, marine crew, and heavy equipment operators.
- Implement pre-mobilization and periodic medical examinations for staff handling hazardous waste and petroleum products.
- Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and monitor health surveillance for exposure to hazardous materials.
- Supervise clinical waste segregation at the source and ensure proper handover in compliance with NESREA and WHO standards.
- Maintain accurate daily clinic registers, injury logs, and prepare comprehensive HSE health reports for management and key clients.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) with a valid license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) will be an added advantage.
- Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and First Aid.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of post-qualification nursing experience, with at least 2 years in Oil and Gas, Marine, Construction, or Industrial Waste Management.
- Proven ability to manage medical emergencies in remote locations without immediate hospital access.
