About the Role
Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre (MHCCC) is a premier tertiary care facility in Lagos dedicated to delivering exceptional, accessible healthcare. We are currently seeking a dedicated ICU Nurse to join our dynamic clinical team in providing advanced care to critically ill patients within our fast-paced intensive care unit.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, evidence-based, and compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and record vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and clinical changes with high precision.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and specialized treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and monitor advanced ICU equipment, including mechanical ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies and acute changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate electronic and physical patient medical records.
- Collaborate seamlessly with doctors, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Uphold rigorous standards of infection prevention, universal precautions, and patient safety.
- Offer empathetic communication, reassurance, and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification with a valid license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Proven professional experience working within an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care setting.
- Exceptional clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient-monitoring abilities.
