We are currently looking for a talented and driven Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring that all projects are completed in strict accordance with approved architectural plans, stringent quality standards, and established timelines. Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor contractors, artisans, and other site workers to maintain high productivity.
- Ensure construction work meets required quality and safety standards consistently.
- Interpret and implement architectural and engineering drawings effectively on-site.
- Monitor materials used on-site and ensure proper utilization to minimize waste.
- Track project progress and provide regular, accurate site reports to management.
- Identify and resolve technical issues swiftly that may arise during the construction phase.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Project Manager, contractors, consultants, and other project teams.
- Ensure all site activities strictly comply with Nigerian health and safety regulations.
- Monitor project timelines and report potential delays or challenges promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain proper documentation of daily activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in construction and site supervision, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Strong working knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and site operations.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Thorough understanding of construction safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multifaceted site activities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering or construction software is an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work on-site full-time and travel to project locations across Nigeria when required.
