About the Role
Extramileage Consults Limited is recruiting ten qualified Short Truck Drivers on behalf of our client, a leading logistics company located in Ogba, Lagos. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious professionals who are ready to excel in a fast-paced transport environment and contribute to our client's seamless supply chain operations across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate short trucks to transport goods to designated locations efficiently and on schedule.
- Navigate routes skillfully with comprehensive knowledge of the road network across South-West Nigeria.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal truck performance and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic regulations, company safety policies, and transport guidelines.
- Manage dispatch documentation accurately and coordinate timely deliveries with the logistics team.
- Must possess a valid driver license (Class G) with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience from the date of first issue.
- Demonstrated expertise and good knowledge of road networks within South-West Nigeria.
- Clean police records with verifiable background history.
- Ability to provide two eligible guarantors who meet company verification stipulations.
- Competitive basic monthly salary of N80,000.
- Monthly housing allowance of N20,000.
- Dispatch allowance of N5,000 per trip.
- Trip allowance of N5,000 per trip, paid at month-end.
