About the Role
The Kids' Rock Arena School, a reputable day and boarding school located in Magbon, Badagry, Lagos, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Driver to join our dedicated support team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting students and staff safely and punctually, ensuring all school vehicles are well-maintained and adhere to safety regulations. Key Responsibilities- Transport students safely to and from school, field trips, and school-related events.
- Observe all traffic laws, safety regulations, and school policies at all times.
- Maintain the assigned school vehicle in a clean, safe, and mechanically sound condition.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist students safely in and out of the vehicle, particularly younger children.
- Keep accurate daily logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Perform minor errands and support administrative logistics as assigned by management.
- Minimum of SSCE or relevant academic qualifications.
- Valid professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within a school or corporate environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos routes, particularly the Badagry-Magbon axis.
- Strong defensive driving skills and adherence to road safety standards.
- Good communication, punctuality, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be of good character with verifiable references and a background check.
