About the Role
The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), a prestigious statutory body chartered to regulate the credit management profession in Nigeria, is seeking a seasoned and highly disciplined Professional Driver to provide executive transport services for its CEO in Lagos. We are looking for an experienced, safety-conscious individual who can maintain the highest standards of discretion, punctuality, and professionalism while navigating the dynamic Lagos metropolis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, smooth, and timely transportation for the Institute's Chief Executive Officer across Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, ensuring the official car is kept immaculately clean, serviced regularly, and in optimal mechanical condition at all times.
- Strictly comply with all federal and state traffic laws, road safety regulations, and institute policies.
- Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and coordinate major repairs with approved mechanics when necessary.
- Maintain a professional driving log, manage travel routes efficiently using practical knowledge of Lagos roads, and ensure absolute confidentiality regarding executive movements.
- Minimum of 5 years of cognate experience working as a dedicated driver for top executives or busy CEOs.
- Possession of a valid, current Driver’s Licence and a mandatory LASDRI Card.
- Extensive practical knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic management, and alternate routes.
- Must be at least 30 years of age, married, mentally stable, and possess a responsible demeanor.
- Basic or secondary knowledge of automobile mechanics and vehicle troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated record of honesty, respect, punctuality, and unwavering safety consciousness with zero history of reckless driving or criminal records.
- Willingness to reside in the provided mini-accommodation and availability to work flexible hours under pressure at short notice.
