About the Role
Scruples Resources is a premier consultancy and human resource development firm dedicated to driving excellence across the Nigerian economy. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shipment Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a senior-level basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless logistics coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities related to customer orders, freight, and daily shipments.
- Liaise effectively with Sales, Customer Service, Dispatch, Warehouse, and Shipping/Receiving teams.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and assist in investigating and resolving service-related complaints.
- Input, update, consolidate, and communicate accurate ETA and shipping data to relevant business units.
- Analyze customer load information to verify appropriate transportation routes, competitive rates, and optimal schedules.
- Coordinate shipment schedules seamlessly with third-party vendors and logistics service providers.
- Support ongoing logistics optimization initiatives and drive continuous improvement of supply chain workflows.
- Maintain precise logistics records and ensure timely communication of all shipment status updates.
- Serve as a primary contact point when engaging with regulatory government officers and key industry stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior-level logistics, supply chain, or shipment coordination role.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-centric mindset with a strong service orientation.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- High computer literacy and proven familiarity with modern logistics management systems.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking skills to evaluate routes, rates, and schedules.
