About the Role
AXA Mansard is seeking a dedicated and analytical Supply Chain Team Member to join our Medisupply operation, the pharmacy benefits management arm of AXA Mansard Health Insurance. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function, ensuring that pharmaceuticals, optical products, and medical consumables are sourced, procured, stocked, and efficiently distributed across our operational hubs in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Abuja. You will play a crucial part in maintaining optimal cost, superior quality, and exceptional service levels to support our healthcare mission in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end procurement and vendor management lifecycle for pharmaceuticals, optical products, and medical consumables.
- Oversee formulary and inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels across multi-location supply hubs.
- Conduct quality assurance and oversee claims processing to maintain high operational standards.
- Coordinate logistics and network operations, including last-mile delivery and rider fleet management.
- Maintain financial and data oversight to ensure cost-efficiency and accurate reporting.
- Lead and manage supply chain team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical procurement, supply chain, or inventory management.
- Demonstrable experience managing a drug formulary with over 2,000 SKUs across multi-location supply operations.
- Familiarity with Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), HMOs, or health insurance supply chain environments.
- Practical knowledge of last-mile logistics, rider fleet management, and medical device procurement within the Nigerian market.
