We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Shift Supervisor to join our client's manufacturing operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee specific production lines during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless operations, stringent quality control, and strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Manage production lines to consistently meet and exceed quality and output targets.
- Supervise, mentor, and train line staff to achieve peak performance and operational goals.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to actively minimize waste and reduce operational costs.
- Implement and maintain environmental management systems, conducting regular audits and reducing energy consumption.
- Ensure a safe working environment by strictly enforcing safety protocols and investigating incidents promptly.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule equipment repairs and ensure minimal downtime.
- Facilitate smooth shift handovers by communicating effectively with other shifts and management through detailed reports.
- Possession of a BSc, B.Engr, HND, or relevant Trade Test certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated practical experience working in a recycling plant environment.
- Strong engineering background with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while delivering exceptional results.
