About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Printing & Lamination Operator to join our client's dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining advanced machinery to ensure the production of premium packaging materials that consistently meet rigorous customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor gravure printing and lamination machines efficiently and safely
- Set up machinery according to specific production requirements and job sheets
- Ensure consistent print quality, color accuracy, and proper registration throughout runs
- Monitor equipment performance and execute necessary adjustments to optimize output
- Conduct routine machine inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve printing and lamination defects swiftly
- Adhere strictly to corporate quality, health, safety, and production standards
- Minimize material waste and reduce unexpected machine downtime
- Maintain accurate daily production records and operational reports
- Collaborate closely with quality control and maintenance teams to hit targets
- Minimum of an OND, Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience operating printing and/or lamination machines in a flexible packaging environment
- Demonstrated experience with Rotogravure, Flexographic, Solvent-Based, or Solventless Lamination processes
- Familiarity with standard packaging substrates including BOPP, PET, PE, CPP, and Foil materials
- Strong mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and advanced troubleshooting skills
- Ability to accurately interpret complex production specifications and quality guidelines
