About the Role
Rotic Aluminium Extrusion is a fast-growing manufacturing leader based in Anambra, dedicated to delivering precision-crafted aluminium profiles across Africa. Established in 2023, we pride ourselves on innovation, craftsmanship, and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Shift Supervisor to oversee our production floor, optimize shift performance, and lead our skilled workforce toward achieving company milestones.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise all production activities and floor operations during assigned day or night shifts.
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and meet daily production targets.
- Compile and share comprehensive daily reports with management regarding metrics, performance, and equipment status.
- Facilitate seamless handovers and transitions of operations between incoming and outgoing shift teams.
- Enforce strict adherence to company quality control standards to ensure consistent output of superior aluminium profiles.
- Oversee routine equipment operation, maintenance schedules, and accurate production documentation.
- Manage, coordinate, and mentor production workers to foster a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate adequate staffing levels and provide on-the-job training to support continuous production cycles.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience leading a manufacturing or production team.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and general computer literacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and generating timely operational reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage teams during night shifts.
- Exceptional crisis management, problem-solving, and adaptability skills in a fast-paced environment.
