About the Role
Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is a world-class company harnessing Nigeria's natural gas resources to produce Liquefied Natural Gas and Natural Gas Liquids for global and domestic markets. Operating from Bonny Island, Rivers State, we are committed to operational excellence, safety, and environmental stewardship. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Operator to join our dynamic production team and contribute to our expanding energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily field operational activities in the assigned plant area safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Perform the role of a safety-critical position holder and human barrier to ensure control barrier effectiveness.
- Monitor plant operations, manage processes, and respond proactively to operational anomalies.
- Participate actively in emergency response protocols and serve on the First Intervention Team as required.
- Maintain strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and operational guidelines.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical, Instrumentation, Petroleum/Gas, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields with a minimum of Upper Credit.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in LNG or complex hydrocarbon operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in LNG process and auxiliary operating areas, including gas treatment, liquefaction, and utilities.
- Physical fitness to work at heights, over water, and wear required PPE, including maintaining a clean-shaven face for breathing apparatus usage.
- Willingness to work structured shift rotations and meet rigorous fitness-to-work standards.
