About the Role
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited is a premier provider of engineering, project support, and technical manpower services to the global oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Drill Team Quality Representative II to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing functional guidance, coordinating network activities, and ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and oversee the comprehensive Drill Team Quality Management Program.
- Provide rigorous oversight of contractors' Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
- Coordinate with company QA/QC teams during the goods manufacturing phase.
- Implement and manage Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Defect Report (DR) systems.
- Coordinate equipment failure investigations and lead root cause analysis processes.
- Manage documentation for all purchased goods and equipment.
- Coordinate and conduct regular Quality Management System assessments.
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
- Extensive professional experience in a closely related oilfield quality assurance position.
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards including API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, ASNT, and NACE.
- Advanced knowledge of ASNT inspection practices and T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
- Completion of the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course.
- Strong expertise in oilfield Drilling and Completions Engineering or Operations, alongside rig equipment familiarity.
- Exceptional self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
