About the Role
Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a skilled and dedicated HEMM Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will ensure that our heavy earth-moving machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to support our large-scale production goals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on various makes and types of heavy-duty equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and safety standards.
- Diagnose diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions to initiate prompt and effective remedial actions.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment by maintaining proper housekeeping during and after job completion.
- Provide adequate on-the-job training and mentorship to junior technicians to foster professional development.
- Operate material handling equipment and tools safely while ensuring strict adherence to company safety policies.
- Assist engineers with spare parts planning and suggest innovative methods to improve maintenance practices.
- Maintain full compliance with ISO regulations across all operational tasks.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on working experience in HEMM maintenance.
- Strong baseline problem-solving and analytical skills.
