About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a proud part of the ABInBev family, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Shared Site Training Controller to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide specialized and effective training and development services to the Packaging team, focusing heavily on skills acquisition, continuous improvement, and overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and coordinate the comprehensive training and development process, leveraging inputs from team discussions, Annual Training Plans, and problem-solving sessions.
- Prepare for and coordinate logistics for required training programs, ensuring seamless participation from presenters and candidates alike.
- Implement learning processes, effectively utilize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as training aids, and track progress against compliance standards.
- Evaluate training effectiveness by analyzing Level 1 evaluations and developing actionable insights to improve future learning outcomes.
- Monitor and support SKAP (Skills, Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice) implementation, assisting line managers with annual plans and assessments.
- Identify future training solutions for trainees, apprentices, and learners while coordinating departmental VPO requirements.
- Manage accurate weekly and monthly reporting routines, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Relevant Technical Qualification or National Diploma.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced packaging or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Performance Management, Learning & Development (L&D), and SKAP practices.
- Deep technical knowledge with a solid understanding of VPO (Plant Optimization) principles.
