Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Environmental Management and Toxicology.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
  • Conduct high-quality, impactful research in environmental management, toxicology, and related ecological sciences, publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, department meetings, and academic accreditation processes.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division alongside a PhD.
  • Must hold a PhD or Master's degree in Environmental Management, Toxicology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience at a tertiary institution.
  • A strong track record of a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in recognized academic journals.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern pedagogical methods and digital learning tools.
