Key Responsibilities- Perform rigorous transaction matching to verify that incoming and outgoing records from back-office systems seamlessly align with subsidiary ledgers.
- Investigate financial discrepancies, known as breaks, and efficiently resolve electronic transfer and payment issues with partner banks and financial institutions.
- Forecast and balance daily movements on various bank accounts utilizing advanced spreadsheet tools and financial systems.
- Assist the finance team with comprehensive month-end and year-end closes while preparing accurate management reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and company policies during all reconciliation procedures.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience working as a settlement and reconciliation officer or in a similar financial operations role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and modern accounting software.
- Exceptional mathematical aptitude, unwavering attention to detail, and advanced analytical problem-solving capabilities.
