About the Role
Halliburton Energy Services, a global leader in the energy industry, is seeking a skilled Service Supervisor II - Cementing to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering industry-leading cementing services, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining our high standards of safety and quality on oil and gas rigs.
Key Responsibilities- Operate all cement pumping and mixing equipment, including blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, and Automatic Density Control (ADC) systems.
- Perform complex pre-job calculations related to pipe capacities, hydrostatic and differential pressures, balanced plugs, and slurry requirements.
- Utilize and monitor ADC software controllers for accurate cement slurry mixing and real-time job data acquisition.
- Complete accurate technical documents, operational reports, and service forms.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to less experienced Service Operators and Operator Assistants.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding pre-job and on-the-job progress.
- Promote safety awareness, environmental consciousness, and strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Completion of high school education or equivalent technical background.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Service Operator-Cementing I.
- Valid licensure to drive commercial oilfield equipment as required by local regulations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical proficiency for pre-job calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client interactions.
