About the Role
Uni-Medical Healthcare Ltd Nigeria, a trusted subsidiary of Unigloves Singapore and UG Healthcare Corporation, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Engineer – IVD to join our expanding team. As a global leader in medical and healthcare supplies, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and technical support to our clients across the medical sector. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) equipment, ensuring optimal performance and maximum uptime for our healthcare partners across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Perform installation, calibration, and routine preventive maintenance of IVD laboratory equipment.
- Diagnose technical faults, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and execute prompt repairs.
- Provide comprehensive technical training and operational support to laboratory personnel and end-users.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and inventory reports for spare parts.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Ensure all service operations comply with international quality standards and company safety protocols.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of IVD equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for technical detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites across Nigeria when required.
- Valid driver's license and familiarity with the Nigerian healthcare market are distinct advantages.
