About the Role

Habrams Energy is seeking a dynamic and qualified Operations Engineer to support project execution, engineering, pipeline inspection, procurement, maintenance, and field operations across our growing portfolio in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities
  • Support project planning and execution, including the development of Project Execution Plans, work plans, Method Statements, and comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Coordinate field personnel, contractors, equipment, materials, and logistics efficiently to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Support pipeline, asset, equipment, and facility inspection activities while operating and coordinating engineering measurement and inspection instruments.
  • Apply working knowledge of NDT/NDE techniques, including UT/UTM, VT, MT, PT, and RT, to identify integrity threats such as corrosion, erosion, and mechanical damage.
  • Support equipment maintenance, failure investigations, root-cause analysis, and monitor equipment condition indicators.
  • Prepare detailed technical, inspection, and operational reports while adhering to HSE, QA/QC, QMS, and Permit-to-Work standards.
  • Support technical evaluations of suppliers and contractors, monitoring performance to maintain the highest quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 1 to 5 years of professional experience in field engineering, inspection, maintenance, EPC, or energy services.
  • Practical experience using measurement, survey, or inspection instruments with a strong ability to interpret technical information.
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), and project execution requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a willingness to work at demanding project and field locations.
  • Prior experience in pipeline integrity, NDT/NDE, ISO 9001/QMS, or CMMS is a distinct advantage.
