About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of our clients' fleets by providing expert mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic support both in our workshop and at various field sites.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronic systems.
- Respond promptly to vehicle and equipment breakdowns to carry out efficient on-site repairs.
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery and post-repair inspections to guarantee top-tier service standards.
- Prepare accurate service reports, job cards, and detailed maintenance records.
- Liaise professionally with customers to explain technical issues, proposed solutions, and maintenance best practices.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Automotive, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in automotive service and mechanical repair.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical vehicle systems.
- Prior hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks such as SINOTRUK, HOWO, Volvo, and MAN is a strong advantage.
