About the Role
Jite Projekts Limited, a leading provider of piling and civil engineering services in Nigeria, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bored Pile Rig Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing the competency of our rig operators, assistant operators, and field personnel through structured practical and classroom-based training programmes focused on safe, efficient, and productive bored piling operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct practical and theoretical training on the operation of bored piling rigs, including Bauer, Soilmec, and XCMG equipment.
- Train operators on Kelly drilling, CFA piling, temporary casing installation, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Develop and implement operator competency assessment programmes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training manuals.
- Identify operational deficiencies and implement corrective coaching programmes to reduce equipment downtime.
- Work closely with Operations, HSE, QA/QC, and Maintenance teams to ensure strict compliance with safety standards.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Technical Training, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of practical experience operating and supervising bored piling rigs.
- Demonstrable expertise with rotary drilling rigs, CFA piling equipment, and major rig brands.
- Previous experience as a technical trainer, instructor, or equipment specialist.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical works, foundation construction, and HSE management.
