About the Role
Jite Projekts Limited is a leading provider of piling and civil engineering services dedicated to delivering exceptional construction projects across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a competent and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful planning, analysis, design, and execution of various structural systems. The ideal candidate will possess sound technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure all designs are safe, cost-effective, and fully compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive structural designs, calculations, and engineering drawings in strict accordance with applicable local and international codes and standards.
- Conduct detailed structural analysis and design for foundations, retaining structures, reinforced concrete, and steel structures.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to guarantee structural adequacy, integrity, and buildability.
- Produce detailed structural reports, design notes, and technical documentation for project stakeholders.
- Support project teams through all stages of planning, execution, and monitoring while carrying out routine site inspections.
- Review subcontractor and consultant design submissions to ensure quality and compliance.
- Coordinate seamlessly with geotechnical, project, and construction teams to optimize overall design solutions and mitigate structural risks.
- Provide expert technical support during tendering, project estimation activities, and client presentations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in structural design and construction projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, ProtaStructure, and Robot Structural Analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structure design, and foundation engineering methodologies.
- COREN registration or verifiable evidence of active progression towards professional registration is a distinct advantage.
