About the Role
American Tower, a global leader in digital infrastructure, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Service Delivery Supervisor, South, to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of all mechanical, electrical, and air conditioning equipment within the designated region, ensuring seamless connectivity and sustainable operations across our sites.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee regional M&E and air conditioning equipment maintenance routines, ensuring maximum asset lifespan and operational efficiency.
- Manage and monitor external contractors and suppliers to ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators.
- Respond promptly to network-impacting issues, outages, and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine site inspections, review contractor invoices, and prepare comprehensive operational reports.
- Implement cost-saving OPEX initiatives without compromising operational quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all installed regional infrastructure and contribute to equipment swap-out planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC activities.
- At least 2 years of contractor supervision experience within the telecommunications or related infrastructure industry.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel and drive long distances across the region.
- Mandatory certification in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or Hazard Identification and Risk Control.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong problem-solving capabilities.
