About the Role
Seven Up Bottling Company, one of the leading beverage manufacturing giants in Nigeria, is looking for a proactive and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our technical operations department. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing plant equipment, leading technical teams, and ensuring maximum uptime for our production lines to support our market-leading brands.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure high availability of production machinery.
- Lead troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair efforts for complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for Returnable Glass Bottle (RGB) and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) packaging lines.
- Manage spare parts inventory, equipment servicing logs, and maintenance team performance metrics.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental compliance standards across all maintenance operations.
- Train, mentor, and upskill junior technicians and maintenance staff to improve operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on operations and maintenance experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Mandatory practical experience working with RGB and PET bottling lines.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of reducing downtime and optimizing plant performance.
