About the Role
Quest Merchant Bank Limited (formerly FBNQuest Merchant Bank) is a leading corporate and investment banking institution in Nigeria, committed to delivering exceptional financial services. We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Server Administrator to join our vibrant IT team. In this fully on-site role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our core server infrastructure, virtualization environments, and enterprise backup systems to support our continuous business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain VMware ESXi virtualization environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage, monitor, and execute enterprise backup and recovery solutions using Commvault.
- Install, configure, patch, and support various Unix, Linux, and Windows Server environments.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services and ensure seamless collaboration tools across the organization.
- Monitor overall system performance, network availability, and proactively address security vulnerabilities.
- Execute routine system updates, preventive maintenance, and robust disaster recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex server, storage, and infrastructure-related incidents promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, network topologies, and operational procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience in server administration within a corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in administering VMware ESXi virtualization platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and managing Commvault Backup and Recovery solutions.
- Solid working knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Windows Server operating systems.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise cloud services.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
