About the Role
Aldelia Limited is currently recruiting a Senior Well Integrity Engineer to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will provide technical leadership and assurance across our well stock, supporting safe and efficient well operations throughout the entire well lifecycle while promoting top-tier HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and continuously update the company Well Status Register and Well Integrity databases.
- Monitor and assess well integrity status across Drilling & Wells and Field Operations, calculating MAASP and defining operating limits.
- Prepare and manage well integrity risk assessments, derogations, investigations, remediation, and inspection programs.
- Review Well Intervention Requests to ensure proposed activities adequately address identified integrity issues.
- Participate in HAZID, risk assessments, BOD reviews, and well construction activities to identify and escalate potential threats.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior engineers across multidisciplinary teams.
- Undertake mandatory occasional visits to onshore, offshore, and Deepwater well sites.
- HND, BSc, or BEng in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline (MSc in an Oil & Gas-related field is an added advantage).
- 6 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in Drilling, Completion, Intervention, or Well Services Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Well Design, Well Construction, Production, and Reservoir Engineering principles.
- Preferred certifications include IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control Level 4, BOSIET/THUET, CA-EBS, and a valid Offshore Safety Permit.
- Proven ability to analyze complex technical data, manage risk, and demonstrate strong leadership and negotiation skills.
