About the Role
Paystack is transforming online payments across Africa by building modern, reliable, and delightful financial infrastructure for businesses and their customers. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Web Designer to join our Creative Studio and help shape our public-facing web presence, including paystack.com, microsites, and campaign landing pages.
Key Responsibilities- Own our public web presence end-to-end, taking briefs from concept through to shipped, production-ready experiences.
- Design and build pixel-responsive, accessible, and fast web interfaces using modern frontend tooling.
- Create reusable components, patterns, and interaction systems to scale our design framework.
- Optimise web properties for performance, accessibility, and conversion across various devices and network speeds.
- Partner closely with frontend engineers to fine-tune performance, edge cases, and systems integration.
- Participate in design critiques, sharing work early and helping the team elevate its creative output.
- 5+ years of web design or design engineering experience at a product-driven technology company.
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, React, and modern frontend tooling with Git.
- Demonstrated experience with web motion and interactivity using GSAP, Framer Motion, or CSS animations.
- Fluent in Figma with a robust portfolio of interactive or motion-heavy web projects.
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, web analytics, and AI development tools to accelerate delivery.
