About the Role
Stretchit Concept Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Nigeria. In this full-time technical role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, security, and reliability of our organisation's network infrastructure across multiple sites. Reporting directly to the Technical Lead, you will own the network layer end-to-end—from wireless access and IP addressing to firewall administration and surveillance network uptime—while collaborating closely with our Security Operations Centre (SOC) team to remediate vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, monitor, and maintain core and site-level network infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with the SOC team to analyze Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and coordinate timely security patching.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot wireless Access Points across all company locations for reliable connectivity.
- Maintain IP Address Management (IPAM) and design VLAN segmentation to ensure proper network isolation and security.
- Manage the network infrastructure supporting CCTV and surveillance systems to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
- Configure and monitor Sophos Firewalls across multiple buildings, handling rule management and VPN configurations.
- Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, IP registers, and configuration records while providing regular status reports.
- Investigate and resolve network-related incidents promptly, applying network hardening best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in network administration within multi-site environments.
- Working knowledge of Sophos Firewall administration or equivalent enterprise firewall platforms.
- Solid understanding of VLANs, IP subnetting, and wireless Access Point management.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and experience collaborating with a SOC on CVE remediation.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Sophos certifications are a strong advantage.
