About the Role

Blue Phoenix Deepwater Limited is a 100% Nigerian-owned company with international reach, delivering specialized underwater and topside IRM (Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance) services for FPSOs, rigs, SPMs, and offshore terminals. We are currently seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Sales & Business Development Executive to lead our commercial growth across the Nigerian oil and gas sector and the broader West African region. Based in Lagos with travel to Port Harcourt and regional hubs, this hands-on role is vital for expanding our footprint in marine logistics, subsea operations, and offshore asset integrity services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive aggressive business development strategies across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors in Nigeria and West Africa.
  • Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with International Oil Companies (IOCs), National Oil Companies (NOCs), and key indigenous operators.
  • Secure lucrative service contracts for marine logistics, underwater IRM, terminal inspections, hull cleaning, and ship chandelling.
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to complex contract negotiations and successful tender submissions.
  • Represent Blue Phoenix Deepwater Limited professionally at industry conferences, client meetings, and stakeholder networking events.
  • Coordinate with technical operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Sciences, Petroleum, or a related technical discipline.
  • An MBA, Project Management certification, or relevant commercial qualifications will be a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven senior technical sales and business development experience within the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
  • Established network of professional relationships with key decision-makers across IOCs, NOCs, and major local operators.
  • Demonstrated expertise in marine, offshore, subsea, SURF, or underwater IRM operational environments.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen with a strong track record in tendering, technical bidding, and contract negotiation.
