About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team for the CDC/PEPFAR-supported BRIDGE project in Imo State as a Senior Technical Officer - HIV/TB. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working closely with organization clinicians and facility-based site teams to elevate service delivery standards and ensure alignment with national objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level technical support for the implementation of comprehensive HIV/TB services at both state and health facility levels.
- Support facility teams in strengthening HIV/TB case finding, accurate diagnosis, and robust treatment adherence.
- Conduct routine supportive supervision, capacity building, and mentoring for healthcare workers on current HIV/TB protocols.
- Deliver against approved GHSD milestone plans and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platforms.
- Promote the use of reliable HIV/TB program data for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- A first degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent) with active practicing license.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in HIV/TB programming, with proven experience working on USG-funded projects.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of National HIV/TB guidelines and reporting standards.
- Exceptional supervisory, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
