About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to drive our public health initiatives and contribute to sustainable health systems strengthening.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of malaria prevention, diagnosis, and treatment interventions.
- Guide the scale-up of malaria case management, chemoprevention, and vector control activities in supported states.
- Ensure malaria interventions align with National Malaria Elimination Programme guidelines and donor requirements.
- Strengthen malaria surveillance, data use, and quality improvement at facility and community levels.
- Support integration of malaria services with HIV, TB, and MNCH platforms.
- Deliver against approved milestone plans and quarterly performance targets, progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Represent the organization in national and state malaria technical working groups.
- A first degree in Medicine, Public Health, or a related health field.
- A master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field is required.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in malaria or infectious disease program management, with a minimum of five (5) years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of national malaria guidelines and donor-funded malaria programming.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High level of integrity and professional maturity.
