About the Role
ADKAN Services Nigeria Limited, a wholly indigenous construction and property development company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead structural engineering activities and provide robust project management oversight for major, large-scale construction projects across Nigeria from inception to handover.
Key Responsibilities- Lead structural design, calculations, and reviews for reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry systems ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, contractors, and quantity surveyors, from planning to final completion.
- Provide senior technical oversight during construction, conducting regular site inspections and enforcing rigorous quality control standards.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies to prevent cost overruns and delays.
- Mentor and guide site engineers and technical personnel while promoting a strong health and safety culture on all project sites.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's Degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 15 years of proven professional experience in structural engineering and large-scale construction project management.
- Mandatory professional registration with COREN and active membership in the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
- Demonstrated expertise managing major construction projects valued at ₦500 million and above.
- Proficiency in advanced engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
