We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Store and Financial Operations Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic oversight of our store inventory operations and financial management, ensuring robust internal controls, accurate reporting, and seamless alignment between our stock and financial processes to support our continued business expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end store and inventory operations, including procurement coordination, receiving, storage, and stock control.
- Lead financial operations related to store activities such as budgeting, cost analysis, and expense management.
- Develop and enforce stringent internal controls to prevent stock loss, fraud, and financial discrepancies.
- Review and approve stock requisitions, purchase orders, and financial vouchers.
- Prepare comprehensive financial and inventory reports for senior management and the board of directors.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis comparing stock consumption against financial expenditure.
- Lead periodic audits and reconciliations of stock and financial records.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop store and junior finance staff.
- Drive continuous process improvements and cost optimization strategies across all operations.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent is strongly preferred.
- A Master's degree (MBA or related) serves as an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in store, inventory, and financial operations, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of managing multi-unit or multi-branch stock and financial operations.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems like Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP, alongside advanced Excel skills.
