About the Role
Culture Kitchen is a vibrant, cultural-themed restaurant located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, specializing in authentic Eastern Nigerian cuisine and immersive dining experiences. As we continue to grow following our late 2024 launch, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile daily restaurant sales and expenses
- Ensure timely remittance of all statutory taxes and regulatory levies
- Develop and manage operational budgets to optimize cost efficiency
- Implement robust internal financial controls and audit procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage sector
- Active professional certification or in-progress status (ICAN, ACCA) is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High level of integrity, analytical mindset, and strong attention to detail
