Key Responsibilities- Take end-to-end responsibility for site construction and execution for utility-scale and ground-mounted solar projects across Nigeria.
- Manage daily site activities at ICR, Switch Yard, and DC fields, covering both civil and electrical works.
- Supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and workers, providing technical training on solar project installation to internal and contractor teams.
- Ensure all construction work is completed strictly in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Plan and optimize manpower, materials, tools, and heavy equipment for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor project schedules meticulously to achieve critical milestones on time and within budget.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and conduct regular toolbox talks and safety audits.
- Inspect the installation quality of solar modules, MMS, inverters, transformers, cables, and earthing systems.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily progress meetings, resolve site issues promptly, and provide comprehensive reports to senior management.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in solar PV construction, with at least 5 years in a dedicated site management role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering utility-scale ground mount solar projects.
- Deep technical knowledge of solar PV systems, civil works, electrical installations, and PR testing methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with modern project management tools and the MS Office Suite.
