We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Security Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will act as the technical escalation point for Security Operations, leading advanced threat detection, incident response, security engineering, and cloud security initiatives. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, network, and architecture teams to design and implement robust, secure solutions that safeguard enterprise-scale hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investigations of significant cyber security incidents, driving containment, forensics, and recovery efforts.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security controls and Zero Trust architecture principles.
- Own and optimize Microsoft Security platforms including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Entra ID.
- Architect and secure complex Azure infrastructure, hybrid cloud environments, and advanced Azure networking components.
- Lead vulnerability management programs, drive attack surface reduction, and mentor junior security operations engineers.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Security Operations, incident response, and advanced threat hunting.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Security technologies, Azure Security, and enterprise-scale Azure Networking.
- Proven ability to write KQL detections, build SOAR automations, and manage hybrid cloud architectures.
- Strong background in network security, firewall management, and vulnerability prioritization based on business risk.
