About the Role
TeKnowledge is looking for an innovative Senior Security Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing robust security architectures, leading incident investigations, and protecting enterprise environments against sophisticated cyber threats. You will collaborate with global teams, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive impactful cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investigations of significant cybersecurity incidents, acting as the primary technical escalation point for complex security events.
- Drive advanced threat hunting across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network environments.
- Own and enhance Microsoft security platforms including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Entra ID Protection.
- Design, implement, secure, and troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure and networking architectures.
- Lead vulnerability management activities and drive attack surface reduction initiatives.
- Mentor and coach junior Security Operations Engineers while establishing operational standards and playbooks.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft security ecosystems and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Strong practical knowledge of Azure networking, including Hub-and-Spoke architectures, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
- Proficiency in KQL, SOAR automation, and Zero Trust security principles.
