About the Role
Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our Reservoir Development & Strategic Integration department. In this vital role, you will champion reservoir management strategies to maximize the value of our oil and gas assets, enhance hydrocarbon production, and optimize field development plans for the flagship OML 30 asset in the Niger Delta with the goal of growing production to at least 100Kbopd.
Key Responsibilities- Lead subsurface workflows, assurance processes, and iterative methods to transition opportunities from identification to execution.
- Direct reservoir simulation studies to evaluate reservoir performance, construct static and dynamic models, and forecast production behavior.
- Perform advanced reservoir modelling, characterization, and well performance analysis to optimize recovery factors and well productivity.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers to execute comprehensive Well, Reservoir, and Facility Management (WRFM).
- Calculate and prepare reserves data for annual economic valuations, resource volume estimation, booking, and reporting.
- Continuously monitor key reservoir parameters such as GOR and WOR, evaluate development scenarios, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline; advanced degrees are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience in reservoir management, reserves estimation, and reservoir simulation modeling within an oil and gas operating company.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry tools including Petrel RE, Eclipse or tNavigator, Sapphire, MBAL, IPM, PROSPER, and OFM.
- Comprehensive technical competence in PVT analysis, PTA/RTA, SCAL measurement, uncertainty analysis, and production forecasting.
