About the Role
Hobark International Limited (HIL) is a premier provider of integrated services to the oil and gas industry across multiple countries, driven by operational excellence and industry expertise. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Reliability Engineer to join our expanding team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will champion asset integrity, optimize maintenance strategies, and drive operational uptime for our core operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and continuously improve reliability and maintenance strategies to maximize asset performance across all operational facilities.
- Lead Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) studies.
- Oversee the management and reliability of critical rotating equipment and ensure compliance with global oil and gas standards.
- Integrate predictive maintenance programs and advanced condition monitoring technologies to proactively identify and mitigate equipment failures.
- Manage Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) data and drive robust asset integrity principles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and HSE teams to resolve complex technical challenges and mentor junior engineers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be considered a distinct advantage.
- 12 to 15+ years of demonstrable experience within the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on Reliability Engineering.
- Proven expertise in maintenance, asset performance management, and rotating equipment operations.
- Active COREN registration and Corporate Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying RCM, RCFA, and RAM methodologies.
