In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring maximum equipment uptime, executing preventive maintenance schedules, and upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance within our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities to ensure maximum efficiency and optimal performance of all plant equipment.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on rotary and static equipment, industrial pumps, and vacuum systems.
- Inspect specifications for engineering consumables and assist in standardizing equipment operating procedures.
- Implement yearly and monthly maintenance schedules in coordination with relevant manufacturing departments.
- Maintain comprehensive records, equipment logs, and documentation to support audits and operational tracking.
- Oversee the calibration and qualification of instruments and processing equipment.
- Perform periodic requalification of HVAC systems and ensure strict adherence to internal safety measures.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on mechanical engineering and plant maintenance experience within a pharmaceutical, chemical, or process manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of rotary/static equipment, vacuum systems, and HVAC periodic requalification.
- Demonstrated expertise in equipment calibration, safety protocols, and maintenance record management.
