We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Quality Design Engineer to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of engineering design, laser scanning, and technical service delivery across our diverse offshore and onshore projects. Key Responsibilities- Lead the quality assurance and design verification processes for marine solutions, engineering designs, and laser scanning projects.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering schematics to ensure strict compliance with international industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, marine operations teams, and external stakeholders to identify design flaws and implement robust corrective actions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive quality control plans, inspection checklists, and testing protocols for all ongoing engineering deliverables.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments on technical services and skilled manpower outputs to maintain exceptional service delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and uncompromising quality.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation for executive management and client review.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of proven experience in quality assurance, design engineering, or technical services within the oil, gas, petrochemical, or maritime sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in engineering design software and modern laser scanning technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the Nigerian energy and maritime industries.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with strong attention to detail.
