We are currently looking for a talented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to drive our product quality standards and ensure our solutions run smoothly, securely, and efficiently for millions of users across the continent.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand product requirements, design specifications, and ensure testability.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and robust test automation approaches.
- Author thorough functional, integration, and non-functional test cases while tracking critical quality metrics like defect density and test coverage.
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript, and create mocks and stubs for isolated component testing.
- Test APIs, microservices, mobile native applications, and web platforms within dynamic Agile environments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality assurance across cross-functional product teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience in Quality Engineering within fast-paced tech environments.
- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript with a heavy focus on test automation.
- Extensive experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile applications, and web platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, Linux/Unix environments, and cloud infrastructure such as GCP and Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, Postman, and modern test automation frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or RestAssured.
