About the Role
Elite International School, Kano is a premier, dual-curriculum private educational institution located along Gwarzo Road in Kano State, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated, qualified, and tech-savvy ICT / Technical Support Officer to join our vibrant academic community. In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our school's technological infrastructure, providing essential hardware, software, and network support to both staff and students in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, printers, and network issues across the school campus.
- Maintain, configure, and update computers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, and other digital learning tools.
- Manage the school network, internet connectivity, and ensure proper cybersecurity measures are in place.
- Assist teachers and administrative staff with the effective integration of technology into daily academic and operational activities.
- Manage user accounts, software licenses, and maintain an accurate inventory of all school ICT assets.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventative servicing of all technological equipment.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar technical role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues swiftly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient approach to helping non-technical staff.
