About the Role
Street Souk, Africa's premier streetwear convention and youth culture festival based in Lagos, Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of our large-scale events, cultural projects, and strategic brand activations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage high-profile stakeholders, and drive projects from initial strategy through to flawless on-ground delivery in a fast-paced creative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale events, cultural festivals, and brand activations from conception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, realistic timelines, detailed budgets, and effective execution strategies.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional internal teams, external vendors, creative partners, and key stakeholders.
- Manage multiple simultaneous workstreams while rigorously ensuring quality standards, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Proactively identify operational risks, solve complex challenges on the fly, and make decisive calls to keep projects on track.
- Oversee on-ground site execution during flagship events to guarantee a seamless attendee experience.
- Deliver comprehensive project updates, executive reports, and thorough post-project evaluations.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in project management, large-scale event production, brand activations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects or high-traffic public events within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional leadership, cross-functional team management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Outstanding organizational, strategic planning, and crisis-resolution abilities.
